WHO
Individuals who are interested in learning to safely use firearms and compete in shooting events should check out the Brandon Wildlife Junior Rifle Club.
WHAT
The Brandon Wildlife Junior Rifle Club offers the following:
- Hunter Education (also known as Hunter Safety) classes
- Field trial activities
- Small bore .22 shooting
- Special shooting events
- The Canadian Firearms Safetly course
- A tournament at the end of the summer season
- Provincial championship in the spring
The program is divided into two seasons:
- Summer Season - May to September
- Spring Season - April
The program has the following sections (followed in this order):
- Teaching safely on the range while handling firearms
- Sportsmanship
- Shooting
WHERE
The Brandon Wildlife Association range is located about 1/2 mile south of Richmond Ave. at 49th Street East.
WHEN
The Club meets once per week. (We will update the day of the week as soon as we can!)
