Brandon, Manitoba is home to the Brandon Camera Club, a group of photography enthusiasts with around 40 members. It has been in existence since 1965! It is also a member of the prestigious Photographic Society of America.
WHO
Anyone who is interested in photography should consider joining the Brandon Camera Club!
Membership Dues are $20/year for a single membership or $25/year for families (parents and dependents living at the same residence). Some benefits of membership include:
- Invitations to club photo shoots
- Invitations to social events such as the annual Christmas Party and Wind-up Party
- Eligible to borrow Club equipement such as studio lighting gear, back drops, projectors etc at no charge
Membership forms are available from the Club Treasurer at any regular meeting of the Club.
WHAT
Club memebers meet to share photographic techniques, slide shows and lectures, exhibitions of members' work and photography outings to locations in the Westman area. Members explore both digital as well as traditional negative, print and slide media.
WHEN
The club meets the first and third Mondays of the months from September to June If the Monday is a holiday, they skip that day.
WHERE
The Brandon Camera Club meets in the Lecture Theatre at Crocus Plains School at 7:30pm. See map below for location:
